Local IL-17 positive T cells are functionally associated with neutrophil infiltration and their development is regulated by mucosal microenvironment in nasal polyps

Sifei Yu et al.

Summary: The study reveals a significant increase of IL-17(+) cells and T cell subsets in polyp tissues of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), with a positive correlation with neutrophil infiltration. Additionally, the homogenates from polyp tissues were found to promote neutrophil migration in vitro.
