The sensitivity of vegetation cover to climate change in multiple climatic zones using machine learning algorithms

Summary: As vegetation is sensitive to climate change, this study investigated the NDVI's sensitivity in the Yellow-Huai-Hai River Basin, finding positive responses to temperature and precipitation change. NDVI was more sensitive to precipitation decrease than increase, and its sensitivity to temperature or precipitation change was non-linear. Spatially, NDVI was more sensitive to temperature and precipitation in colder and drier areas. Additionally, land use also had a significant impact on the sensitivity of NDVI to climate change.
