Comparative study on 3D printing of polyamide 12 by selective laser sintering and multi jet fusion

Chao Cai et al.

Summary: A systematic comparison of polyamide 12 (PA12) parts printed by Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) techniques revealed that MJF-printed specimens had slightly stronger mechanical strength and smoother front and side surfaces than SLS-printed counterparts.

Mechanical Properties of Polypropylene: Additive Manufacturing by Multi Jet Fusion Technology

Jiri Safka et al.

Summary: Multi jet fusion (MJF) technology has gained significance with increasing market share, and recently introduced polypropylene (PP) by Hewlett-Packard. Little is known about the mechanical properties of PP processed by MJF. Mechanical tests show sample orientation significantly influences response, and PP powder can be reused without altering thermal and structural properties in the MJF process.
