Diet and Economic Modelling to Improve the Quality and Affordability of the Australian Diet for Low and Medium Socioeconomic Households

Summary: This study found that selecting nutritious and low-cost foods can improve the quality and affordability of the Australian diet, particularly for low and medium socioeconomic households. The substitution modelling showed that adopting a healthier dietary pattern significantly improved diet quality for adults and children, as well as increased diet affordability for low and medium socioeconomic households.
