Barriers to safety program implementation in the construction industry

Barriers of value management implementation for building projects in Egyptian construction industry

The study found that key barriers in the construction industry include insufficient skills and training, as well as difficulties in involving decision-makers and other key partners in VM workshops.

Despite limited practice experiences, stakeholder and knowledge were found to be crucial CSFs for implementing VM in the Egyptian construction industry.

Impact of Value Management on Building Projects Success: Structural Equation Modeling Approach

Summary: This study aims to develop a VM implementation model by investigating the relationship between VM implementation and overall project success in Egyptian building projects. The findings showed that the implementation of VM contributed 55.5% to the success of the project. These results can be used as a benchmark for decision-makers to minimize costs and boost efficiency by implementing VM in the Egyptian construction industry.
