Deprescribing interventions in primary health care mapped to the Behaviour Change Wheel: A scoping review

Jennifer E. Isenor et al.

Summary: This scoping review identified and characterized strategies for deprescribing in primary health care, which were generally multifaceted involving various professionals and patients. A variety of Behavior Change Techniques (BCT) were mapped to intervention functions, highlighting the need for further research to determine the effectiveness of different BCTs in reducing polypharmacy in primary health care.
