Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model for stagnation point flow of micropolar nanofluid toward a nonlinear stretching surface with slip effects

Shafiq Ahmad et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the Cattaneo-Christov model with variable thermal relaxation time and entropy generation. It examines a micropolar fluid absorbing heat in the presence of mixed convection and partial slip, with the immersion of single-wall carbon nanotubes and multi-wall carbon nanotubes. The non-dimensional similarity transformation is used to convert the partial differential equations into nonlinear ordinary differential equations, which are then numerically solved using MATLAB's bvp4c.

M. Irfan et al.

Summary: In the realm of pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, and nanoscience, scientists are exploring the concept of nanofluids, two-phase ingredients with notable heat transportation properties. This study delves into new concepts related to mass flux and activation energy in magnetized transient Carreau nanofluids with variable conductivity, investigating convective phenomena, heat sources/sinks, and chemical reactions. By using the bvp4c algorithm, the study graphically illustrates the results of influential parameters, showing that thermophoretic and activation energy parameters have similar effects on concentration distribution. Comparisons with outstanding agreement are also made.

Summary: This study examines the rheological aspects of nanofluids and their potential applications in sustainable energy strategies. Through simulation analysis, it is found that nanofluids have exaggerated heat transport capacity and can serve as possible alternatives to conventional fluids. The research results indicate that the heat transfer performance of nanofluids varies under different variable conditions.

A comparative study between linear and exponential stretching sheet with double stratification of a rotating Maxwell nanofluid flow

Muhammad Naveed Khan et al.

Summary: The current article investigates the flow of rotating Maxwell nanofluid with double stratification and activation energy, analyzing the impact of rotation and stretching on velocity profile and temperature as well as heat and mass transfer rates. Numerical computations show that higher rotation parameter reduces heat flux, while increasing Deborah number decreases heat and mass transfer rates, and augmenting thermophoretic parameter enhances mass transfer rate. The study's novelty lies in analyzing Maxwell nanofluid flow in a rotating frame with activation energy and thermophoretic effect, with results showing remarkable agreement with existing literature.

Muhammad Naveed Khan et al.

Summary: In this study, a realistic approach was used to investigate the MHD stagnation point flow of a Maxwell nanofluid past a shrinking sheet with a chemical reaction. The numerical analysis and graphical analysis showed that the first solution significantly increases with higher values of the magnetic parameter, while the second solution decreases. Additionally, the Nusselt number exhibits a decreasing behavior for both solutions with relaxation parameter.

Mathematical analysis of heat and mass transfer in a Maxwell fluid with double stratification

Summary: This research investigates the effects of variable thermal conductivity on three-dimensional steady flow of Maxwell nanofluid in the presence of heat generation/absorption and double stratification. By using the Cattaneo-Christov theory and numerical techniques, the nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed and solved. The study shows that thermal and concentration stratification parameters reduce temperature and concentration distribution, while heat generation parameter enhances temperature distribution.
