Melting heat transfer in hybrid nanofluid flow along a moving surface

Najiyah Safwa Khashi'ie et al.

Summary: The impact and capability of Cu-Al2O3/water nanoliquid as the heat transfer fluid during melting heat transfer on a moving surface are numerically investigated. The results show that the use of hybrid nanofluid assists boundary layer separation, but also increases the heat transfer rate.

An improved heat conduction analysis in swirling viscoelastic fluid with homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions

Masood Khan et al.

Summary: This paper investigates an unsteady magnetohydrodynamic Maxwell fluid flow on a rotating and vertically moving disk in the presence of homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions, using an improved heat conduction theory. The study reveals that the wall motion of the rotating disk has a similar effect to suction/injection, increasing the thermal relaxation time parameter reduces the temperature field, and stronger rates of reactions decrease the concentration profile.

Nonlinear mixed convective nanofluid flow about a rough sphere with the diffusion of liquid hydrogen

P. M. Patil et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the steady nonlinear mixed convective nanoliquid flow around a rough sphere with liquid hydrogen diffusion. Non-similar transformations and Quasilinearization technique are used to linearize the nonlinear dimensionless equations obtained from the governing equations. The numerical solutions show how different physical parameters affect velocity distribution, temperature, nanoparticle volume fraction, and species concentration.

Impact of Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model on MHD hybrid nano-micropolar fluid flow and heat transfer with viscous and joule dissipation effects

Asifa Tassaddiq

Summary: Literature review indicates that hybrid nanofluids are more effective in heat transfer compared to conventional fluids. This study focuses on the impact of hybrid nanoparticles on thermal efficiency of nano-structured micropolar fluid, utilizing the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model. The results show a decrease in macro-velocity field with micropolar factor and Hartmann number, and an increase in thermal conductivity with higher values of Hartmann number, micropolar parameter, Eckert number, and material parameter.
