Properties of Frost-Retted Hemp Fibers for the Reinforcement of Composites

Laetitia Marrot et al.

Summary: The study found that frost-retted hemp fibers have a high amount of solubles on the surface and a low lignin content, making them suitable for composite applications. Recommendations were provided for using frost-retted hemp fibers in enhancing the properties of thermoplastic composites.
