The algorithm presented in this work enables the determination of species distribution diagrams and solubility curves in a chemical bath system, facilitating the synthesis of high-quality ZnO, ZnS, or Zn(OH)2 films. By identifying all formed species, chemical conditions can be obtained in a temperature range from 25 degrees C to 90 degrees C. The better conditions for obtaining the mentioned films are explained and justified through optical, morphological, and structural characterizations.
This work presents an algorithm to obtain the species distribution diagrams and the solubility curves for a chemical bath system containing ZnCl2, NH4NO3, KOH, and SC(NH2)2 in aqueous solution. This algorithm is useful to obtain the better chemical conditions for synthesizing high quality ZnO, ZnS, or Zn(OH)2 films by the chemical bath deposition technique. The algorithm requires to identify all the formed species from the chemical reagents. The chemical conditions can be obtained in a range of temperature from 25 degrees C to 90 degrees C. The better conditions to obtain the mentioned films are explained and justified with the respective optical, morphological and structural characterizations.
