Highly efficient photocatalytic water splitting utilizing a WO3-x/ZnIn2S4 ultrathin nanosheet Z-scheme catalyst

Summary: A highly crimped WO3-x/ZnIn2S4 flexible ultrathin nanosheet heterojunction was synthesized for enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. The heterojunction exhibited highly efficient hydrogen production activity with an apparent quantum efficiency of 26.28% at 400 nm.
