The removal of volatile siloxanes from gas emissions is crucial due to their persistent detrimental impacts on the economy, society, and environment. While physicochemical technologies are currently the only commercially available abatement methods, biobased technologies are emerging as a more cost-effective and sustainable alternative for promoting the removal of volatile siloxanes.
