Boundary-to-Displacement asymptotic gains for wave systems with Kelvin-Voigt damping

Summary: The study examines the asymptotic gains of a vibrating string with various types of damping and boundary disturbance. It is found that the asymptotic gain property holds in the norm of the displacement without any assumption for the damping coefficients. Upper bounds for the gains are derived using eigenfunction expansion methodology or small-gain argument, while lower bounds are derived using a novel frequency analysis methodology.
