Exercise Intervention A pilot study to assess the feasibility and impact on cancer-related fatigue and quality of life among patients with high-grade glioma

Jennifer Spencer et al.

Summary: This 18-month pilot study aimed to assess the feasibility of recruiting and retaining high-grade glioma patients into a 10-week exercise intervention and evaluating its effects on cancer-related fatigue (CRF) and quality of life (QOL). Participants were divided into usual care, education, or exercise groups based on enrollment time and treatment location, with exercise participants showing reduced fatigue and improved QOL compared to the other groups, indicating the favorable effects of exercise on clinical outcomes for high-grade glioma patients.
