Incidence of Acquired Nontraumatic Spinal Cord Injury in Finland: A 4-Year Prospective Multicenter Study

It found that NTSCI was more common in men, with degenerative causes being the most common etiology, and tetraplegia being less common. Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the potential benefits of the Neuro-Spinal Scaffold (NSS) for safety and neurological recovery in patients with complete T2-12 spinal cord injury when implanted within 96 hours post-injury. Results showed that 43.8% of patients had improvement in neurological status at the 6-month follow-up visit after NSS implantation.
