Summary: The concept of neutrosophic Z-number (NZN) set, operations of NZNs, a score function for ranking NZNs, as well as NZN weighted arithmetic and geometric averaging operators were proposed in this paper. A multicriteria decision making (MDM) approach in the NZN environment was developed and demonstrated through an illustrative example about selecting business partners. The effectiveness and applicability of the MDM approach in the NZN setting were showcased.
