Analysis of Survey Approach Using UAV Images and Lidar for a Chimney Study

Harshit et al.

Summary: This paper analyzes survey methodologies using Lidar and UAV-based photogrammetry, comparing an overall approach for chimney study. The development in unmanned aerial systems has made surveys more accurate and accessible, allowing for detailed analysis of structures and identification of defects. By comparing eccentricity calculations using UAV images and Lidar data, the practicality and accuracy of both survey methods are evaluated.
