Attention-based multi-scale features fusion for unobtrusive atrial fibrillation detection using ballistocardiogram signal

Summary: This study proposes an attention-based multi-scale features fusion method using BCG signal for AF detection. By integrating 1-D morphology feature and 2-D rhythm feature extracted from Bi-LSTM network and reconstructed phase space respectively through CNN network, the proposed method shows superior AF detection performance compared to traditional feature extraction methods. The experimental results demonstrate that the combined feature extraction method can reveal more potential characteristics, and the attention mechanism can improve the relevance for AF recognition.
