Summary: The study identified personal stake, dread, and moral nature as influential outrage factors associated with risk perception regarding fine dust. Risk perception increased when individuals perceived personal implications, fearful images, and irresponsible behavior regarding the environmental hazard. News media use also played a role in shaping risk perception, with heavy users showing higher perception but being less affected by certain outrage effects.
