Representative identification of spectra and environments (RISE) using k-means

Erin E. Looney et al.

Summary: The study introduces a new method named RISE based on spectral classification to better characterize solar cell performance. By defining 18 representative spectra, the research explores energy yield differences under different locations and technology conditions. Experimental results show that the RISE method can more accurately predict solar cell yield differences in an LED tester.
