Graphene-silver alloyed quantum dots nanofluid: Synthesis and application in the cooling of a simulated electronic system

Vishnuprasad Selvaraj et al.

Summary: In this study, graphene-silver alloyed quantum dots were synthesized using an In-situ hydrothermal method to create nanofluid suspensions for cooling electronic systems. The nanofluid showed enhanced thermal conductivity and heat transfer capabilities, making it a promising coolant for heat-generating electronic systems.

Stagnation-point flow of Ag-CuO/water hybrid nanofluids over a permeable stretching/shrinking sheet with temporal stability analysis

Ali Akbar Abbasian Arani et al.

Summary: This study investigates the stagnation-point flow of hybrid Ag-CuO/water nanofluids over a stretching/shrinking sheet. Through numerical and stability analysis, it is found that there are dual solutions to the problem, which are connected to the shrinking rate. The friction factor and Nusselt number of the nanofluids show significant variations with the suction/injection parameter.

Effect of surfactant on the rheological behavior and thermophysical properties of hybrid nanofluids

Mingyan Ma et al.

Summary: The study found that increasing the concentration of surfactant can improve the stability and viscosity of hybrid nanofluids. Among the surfactants tested, PVP showed the highest stability and contributed to the highest thermal conductivity enhancement at optimal concentrations.

Preparation, characterization, and viscosity studding the single-walled carbon nanotube nanofluids

Summary: This study experimentally investigated the rheology and viscosity of nanofluids containing SWCNT, showing that the fluid index decreased and the consistency factor increased with increasing concentration of SWCNT. The viscosity of the nanofluids depended on the effective size of SWCNTs, and they exhibited viscoelastic properties due to the formation of a solid spatial lattice of nanotubes.
