An efficient, mild, and reusable catalytic hydroacylation and hydroamination reactions were developed using heterogeneous Ti(IV) anchored MCM-41 catalyst from various aryl, heteroaryl, aliphatic aldehydes as well as aryl and aliphatic amines with dialkyl azodicarboxylate. The catalyst showed excellent yields, a wide substrate scope, and para-selectivity with unprotected amines.
An efficient, mild and reusable catalytic hydroacylation and hydroamination reactions have been developed by using heterogeneous Ti(IV) anchored MCM-41 catalyst from various aryl, heteroaryl, aliphatic aldehydes as well as aryl and aliphatic amines with dialkyl azodicarboxylate. The catalyst gives excellent yields of desired products, a wide range of substrate scope in hydroacylation and hydroamination and para-selectivity is observed with unprotected amines. The catalyst (Ti-MCM-41) was prepared by a modified strategy and reused more than five catalytic cycles without any significant yield loss in these reactions.
