Evaluating nematode resistance of grapevine rootstocks based on Xiphinema index reproduction rates in a fast screening assay

J. Schurig et al.

Summary: The method of using nematode reproduction rates for resistance screening of grapevine rootstocks is shown to be faster and more reliable than traditional long-lasting inoculation experiments. The results indicate that the reproduction rates of rootstocks decrease as the level of resistance increases.
