The paper suggests that a modified Oldroyd-B model can be utilized to describe the rheology of non-colloidal suspensions with a viscoelastic matrix. Professor R. Byron Bird had previously utilized Oldroyd models for around 50 years in studying rheological behavior.
Professor R. Byron Bird used Oldroyd models of rheological behavior over a span of around 50years. In this paper, it is suggested that a modified Oldroyd-B model can also be used to describe the rheology of non-colloidal suspensions that have a viscoelastic matrix.
