Convective flow of a fractional second grade fluid containing different nanoparticles with Prabhakar fractional derivative subject to non-uniform velocity at the boundary

Abdul Basit et al.

Summary: This article investigates the convective flow of improved nanofluid along an erect heated plate based on Prabhakar-like energy transport. The governing equations of this mathematical model are obtained using Prabhakar fractional derivative. The Laplace transform method is applied to obtain the generalized results for dimensionless velocity and temperature profiles. The study finds that the temperature of Ag - H2O nanoparticles is higher than Cu - H2O and TiO2 - H2O nanoparticles, while the velocity shows the opposite trend. Moreover, increasing the values of fractional parameters can enhance the temperature and velocity.

Natural convection flows of Prabhakar-like fractional Maxwell fluids with generalized thermal transport

Nehad Ali Shah et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the natural convective flows of Prabhakar-like fractional viscoelastic fluids over an infinite vertical heated wall by introducing generalized fractional constitutive equations and the time-fractional Prabhakar derivative. Closed-form solutions for the non-dimensional velocity and temperature fields are determined using the method of integral transform, and comparisons are made with other fluids.

Analysis of nonlinear fractional differential equations involving Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo derivative

Kishor D. Kucche et al.

Summary: In this paper, estimations on the Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo fractional derivative at extreme points are determined, leading to comparison results. Peano's type existence results for nonlinear fractional differential equations involving Atangana-BaleanuCaputo fractional derivative are established. The acquired comparison results are then used to address the existence of local, extremal, and global solutions.

Thomas M. Michelitsch et al.

Summary: The paper discusses discrete-time counterparts of the Prabhakar generalized fractional Poisson counting process, analyzing renewal processes with integer IID interarrival times that converge in well-scaled continuous-time limits. These processes exhibit non-Markovian features and long-time memory effects, capturing several aspects in the dynamics of complex systems as promising fields for further research.

A new generalized Hilfer-type fractional derivative with applications to space-time diffusion equation

Tahir Ullah Khan et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a new generalized fractional derivative, GH, which unifies various previously defined fractional derivatives into a single form. The Mellin transform of GH fractional derivative is obtained, and it is applied in constructing a space-time fractional diffusion equation with explicit solution in terms of Fox's H-function. The diffusive behavior and role of parameters in GH fractional derivative are described with 3D plots.

Thermal analysis of free convection flows of viscous carbon nanotubes nanofluids with generalized thermal transport: a Prabhakar fractional model

Muhammad Tanveer et al.

Summary: This study considers the free convection flow of nano fluid model between two parallel plates with a distance d, using CNTs as nanoparticles and the generalized Fourier's law of Prabhakar-like fractional derivative. Solutions for temperature distribution and velocity field are calculated using integral transforms, and the impacts of fractional and physical parameters in the developmental model of temperature and velocity field are graphically highlighted.

Application of novel fractional derivative to heat and mass transfer analysis for the slippage flow of viscous fluid with single-wall carbon nanotube subject to Newtonian heating

Mushtaq Ahmad et al.

Summary: The study investigates the free convection slippage flow of fractional viscous fluid with single-walled carbon nanotubes, considering factors such as thermal radiation, heat generation, chemical reaction, and Newtonian heating. The use of constant proportional Caputo fractional derivative results in more stable temperature, concentration, and velocity fields compared to ordinary fields. The fractional parameter plays a key role in controlling the boundary thickness of temperature, concentration, and velocity fields.
