Compatibility ofMetarhizium anisopliaeandBeauveria bassianawith insecticides and fungicides used in macadamia production in Australia

Kim Khuy Khun et al.

Summary: This study tested the effects of 10 formulated pesticides used in macadamia production on the germination, mycelial growth and sporulation of Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana in vitro. The results identified compatible and incompatible pesticides for these entomopathogenic fungi, with future research needed on pesticide degradation rates to eliminate adverse effects.
