Summary: The study reviewed 5.9 million charts and found that nearly one-third of patients with autoimmune diseases also had scleritis, with rheumatoid arthritis patients representing the highest percentage. Limitations of the study included accuracy of chart coding and having laboratory results within the searchable EMR.
