A Rod-Packing Hydrogen-Bonded Organic Framework with Suitable Pore Confinement for Benchmark Ethane/Ethylene Separation

Summary: ZJU-HOF-1 demonstrates high C2H6 uptake and C2H6/C2H4 selectivity, significantly outperforming most top materials. Theoretical calculations show that the cage-like cavities and functional sites provide stronger multipoint interactions with C2H6 compared to C2H4.
