Conductive cotton fabrics with ultrahigh washability by electroless silver plating after silane modification

Li Wang et al.

Summary: The adhesion of conductive components to fabrics is crucial for the application of conductive fabrics. To improve the washing resistance, cotton fabrics were treated with MPTS and coated with silver. The relationship between silane grafting ratio and electrical resistance was investigated, resulting in fabrics with low resistance even after 200 washing cycles, suitable for wearable electronic products.

Development of di-methacrylate quaternary ammonium monomers with antibacterial activity

Lidia Fanfoni et al.

Summary: Nine antibacterial di-methacrylate monomers based on bis-quaternary ammonium salts were synthesized and showed promising results against different bacterial strains, with two structures outperforming a commercial monomer. The analysis revealed a correlation between the structure and antibacterial activity of the monomers, aiding in the design of new active structures.
