Characterization and Study on Fragmentation Pathways of a Novel Nerve Agent, 'Novichok (A234)', in Aqueous Solution by Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry

Jin Young Lee et al.

Summary: In this study, the degradation products and fragmentation pathways of Novichok (A234) in aqueous solution at different pH levels were investigated using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The results showed that A234 had the fastest hydrolysis rate under acidic conditions, with the same degradation products formed at all pH levels.
