Specific Refractory Gold Flotation and Bio-Oxidation Products: Research Overview

Summary: This research provides insights into the major causes of gold refractoriness and ways to maximize extraction performance through systematic investigation of ore mineralogy, gold deportment properties, leaching mechanisms, and kinetic behavior. The study highlights the influence of factors such as recalcitrant sulfate minerals, carbonaceous matter, and other gangue minerals on extraction efficacy, as well as the impact of feed mineralogy/chemistry, time, agitation/shear rate, and mechano-chemical activation on leaching mechanisms and kinetics. This work underscores the importance of subtle deposit feature changes on extraction performance.
