A novel optimized monolith catalyst of CeSn0.8W0.6Ox/TiAl0.2Si0.1Ox with 12 wt% CeSn0.8W0.6Ox calcined at 500 degrees C exhibited over 90% NO removal efficiency and 100% N-2 selectivity in a broad active temperature window of 252-456 degrees C under GHSV less than 10,000 h(-1). Moreover, both the CO and C3H8 can be effectively oxidized into CO2 over the catalyst. Comparatively a commercial V2O5(WO3)/TiO2 catalyst had no action on catalytic oxidation of CO, over which the C3H8 could only be oxidized to CO. Anyway, excellent redox properties and surface acidity are two active factors for the CeSn0.8W0.6Ox/TiAl0.2Si0.1Ox in catalytic removal of NO, CO and C3H8. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd.
