Organosilane-assistant synthesis of hierarchical SAPO-34 aggregates with superior MTO performance

Chao Sun et al.

Summary: The hierarchical SAPO-34 aggregates were synthesized with the assistance of organosilane TPED and using morpholine as the template. Different amounts of TPED led to varying morphologies, compositions, and acid properties of the resulting aggregates. The addition of TPED played a pivotal role in the formation of hierarchical SAPO-34 aggregates, which exhibited significant improvement in methanol to olefin reaction compared to conventional SAPO-34.

Synthesis of SAPO-34 with modifying Si distribution by seed-assisted method and its excellent catalytic performance for methanol to olefins

Xiaotong Wang et al.

Summary: Low acidity SAPO-34 was synthesized by using seeding SAPO-34 as Si source, resulting in lower Si content and acidity, and demonstrating good catalytic performance and light olefins selectivity in methanol to olefins process. Manipulating Si distribution through recrystallization of seeding SAPO-34 can further improve catalytic performance.

Polyacrylamide-assisted synthesis of hierarchical porous SAPO-34 zeolites with excellent MTO catalytic performance

Li Han et al.

Summary: In this study, hierarchical porous SAPO-34 zeolite with excellent catalytic properties was successfully prepared using a one-step hydrothermal synthesis method by introducing water-soluble polyacrylamide (PAM) hydrogel into the conventional SAPO-34 synthesis system. Compared to conventional microporous SAPO-34, the hierarchically structured SAPO-34 exhibited significantly longer catalytic lifetime (740 min) and improved selectivity for light olefins up to 87.5% in the MTO reaction.
