Molecular Characteristics of Jujube Yellow Mottle-Associated Virus Infecting Jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) Grown at Aksu in Xinjiang of China

Jiashu Guo et al.

Summary: This study revealed the genetic diversity of Jujube yellow mottle-associated virus (JYMaV) in Chinese jujube plants, showing a close association with leaf mottle symptoms. Through high-throughput sequencing and RT-PCR assays, researchers determined the genome sequences of JYMaV isolates and found high sequence variation in the non-translational regions of the viral genomic segments.
