Thermally exfoliated graphene oxide reinforced polycaprolactone-based bactericidal nanocomposites for food packaging applications

Summary: In this study, thermally exfoliated graphene oxide (TEGO) reinforced polycaprolactone (PCL) based bio-composite films were prepared by solution casting method. The results showed that TEGO was successfully dispersed in PCL matrix, generating a porous microstructure, and the incorporation of TEGO particles enhanced the water absorption capacity and reduced the density of the composite films.

pH-responsive mesoporous silica drug delivery system for targeted cancer chemotherapy

Summary: A pH-responsive mesoporous silica targeted drug delivery system was designed and synthesized in this study, showing significant drug release stability and targeted therapy on cancer cells. Results demonstrated that the system had a higher drug release rate under acidic conditions and could effectively target and treat cancer cells through in vitro experiments using CLSM and MTT assays.
