Summary: The study developed a method for restoring protective coating of pure titanium, damaged due to long-term operation, through plasma electrolytic oxidation and subsequent polymer treatment. The research showed that composite coatings with polytetrafluoroethylene have higher corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and hydrophobicity, compared to thermal coatings.
