Summary: This study demonstrates the significant potential of SERS combined with multivariate analysis for distinguishing carcinoma or tumor from normal salivary gland tissues as a rapid, label-free tool in cancer detection. PCA and PLS-DA methods were used to identify differences and classify salivary gland homogenates, showing promise for differentiation between healthy and tumor tissues.
