Microspheres viscous drag at a deformed fluid interface: particle's weight and electrical charges effects

Summary: This study shows that when a microparticle is trapped at a fluid interface, the combination of the particle's electrical charge and weight deforms the interface, which then affects particle diffusion. By using available models, we are able to predict particle diffusion coefficient values for a wide range of particle contact angles and sizes, providing a solid background of numerical values for future experimental studies in this field.
