Time-resolved compositional mapping during in situ TEM studies

Axel R. Persson et al.

Summary: By improving the algorithm, the time resolution of sequential mapping using STEM and EDS is enhanced, revealing the compositional progression of different regions of nanostructures. The work, conducted in ETEM, demonstrates a time resolution as low as 16 seconds compared to the usual minutes needed for similar analysis.
