A novel and efficient synthetic method was developed for the preparation of various pyrroloindolines from 2-alkynyl arylazides and thioacetamides. The reaction was carried out in a one-pot process under mild reaction conditions to afford the products in moderate to good yields, showing potential for use in organic synthesis.
