Molecular Imaging Targeting Corticotropin-releasing Hormone Receptor for Corticotropinoma: A Changing Paradigm

Rama Walia et al.

Summary: Ga-68 CRH PET-CT is a novel molecular imaging technique targeting CRH receptors that accurately delineates corticotropinoma and provides valuable information for intraoperative tumor navigation. The study showed that Ga-68 CRH PET-CT can differentiate pituitary adenomas and identify extra-pituitary sources of ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome, demonstrating its potential clinical utility.
