Missing Air Pollution Data Recovery Based on Long-Short Term Context Encoder

Yangwen Yu et al.

Summary: Air pollution has become a global challenge, and obtaining real-time air quality information is urgently needed. This article proposes a novel method for recovering missing air pollution data, which can handle irregular missing data patterns and introduces a new data preprocessing strategy.

Discovery of autism/intellectual disability somatic mutations in Alzheimer's brains: mutated ADNP cytoskeletal impairments and repair as a case study

Yanina Ivashko-Pachima et al.

Summary: The study identified a large number of gene mutations in AD patients, with the ADNP gene potentially being associated with autism, intellectual disabilities, and AD. Results showed that AD patients had a higher mutation frequency, and ADNP could inhibit the toxicity of mutated ADNP-microtubules through the NAP fragment.

Putative Blood Somatic Mutations in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder-Symptomatic Soldiers: High Impact of Cytoskeletal and Inflammatory Proteins

Shlomo Sragovich et al.

Summary: The study aimed to determine if somatic mutations in brain diseases present in blood samples for potential diagnostics. It found a high number of cytoskeletal-mutated genes when comparing with autism, intellectual disability, cytoskeleton, inflammation, and DNA repair databases. Additionally, more putative high impact mutated genes specific to PTSD-symptom cohorts were identified, highlighting the importance of tumor necrosis factor in these cohorts.

Prevalence of mild behavioural impairment: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Yining Pan et al.

Summary: MBI is a common neurobehavioral syndrome characterized by emergent neuropsychiatric symptoms in later life, with a pooled prevalence of 33.5%-45.5% in MCI subjects, 17.0% in CN subjects, and 35.8% in SCI or CN-AR subjects. Studies show MBI significantly impacts cognitive deterioration and is associated with the pathology and genetics of Alzheimer's disease.
