Summary: This study engineered mucin-1 aptamer-conjugated multifunctional nanoparticles using PAM for image-guided delivery of gefitinib in breast cancer cells/tumors. The NPs showed sustained-release mechanism and high cytotoxicity, leading to significant accumulation at the tumor site in vivo.
