Summary: The introduction of PMPP has significantly improved the stability and performance of the SPI membrane, enhancing anti-hydrolysis and anti-oxidation stability, maintaining high proton conductivity and low vanadium ion permeability, and improving membrane mechanical properties through a rigidity-flexibility network. The SPI/2% PMPP membrane also shows higher CE, VE, and EE than the N212 membrane at a high current density, with reduced battery capacity loss and high temperature resistance, indicating potential applications in fuel cells.
