The temperature induced current transport characteristics in the orthoferrite YbFeO3-δ thin film/p-type Si structure

Summary: The study of the current-voltage characteristics of perovskite ytterbium ferrite and the determination of the work function and ideality factor of the heterojunction revealed the electrical properties of this new material. The temperature-independent slope of the I-V curve indicates the presence of field emission current mechanism in the device, while a tunneling transmission coefficient value of 26.67 was obtained at the interface of ferroelectric YbFeO3-delta layer and p-Si.
