Enhanced efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cell by adding polymer mixture in perovskite photoactive layer

Min Zhong et al.

Summary: The key to commercialization of organic-inorganic lead halide perovskite solar cells is to achieve high photoelectric conversion efficiency and long-term stability. By incorporating a polymer mixture of PVP and PEG into the precursor solution, the PCE of PSCs can be significantly improved with better air stability, attributed to the synergistic effect of the polymer mixture on perovskite structure and ion migration. This work provides an effective additive to enhance both efficiency and stability of PSCs for commercial applications in high humidity environments.
