Influenza vaccination in immunocompromised populations: Strategies to improve immunogenicity

Freddy Caldera et al.

Summary: Immunocompromised individuals are at high risk of severe influenza infections. Strategies such as high-dose trivalent, inactivated, split-virus influenza vaccine (IIV3-HD) have shown promise in improving vaccine responses in these populations. Larger studies are needed to confirm the effectiveness and safety of enhanced influenza vaccines in immunocompromised individuals.
