Visit-to-visit blood pressure variability and risk of adverse birth outcomes in pregnancies in East China

Summary: The study showed that visit-to-visit blood pressure variability (VVV) during pregnancy, especially the variability in diastolic blood pressure (DBP), was independently associated with poor birth outcomes in East China. Adding DBP-VVV to established risk factors may help identify pregnancies at high risk of small for gestational age. Further validations are required to confirm these findings.
