Polyphenol Content and Antioxidant Activity of Stevia and Peppermint as a Result of Organic and Conventional Fertilization

Lina Garcia-Mier et al.

Summary: Studies have shown that organic fertilization has a significant impact on the content and antioxidant activity of phenolic compounds, with organic peppermint showing significantly higher total phenols content and antioxidant activity compared to conventional fertilization. This suggests that organic fertilization may be an alternative for producing high value-added agricultural and commercial products.
