Violence against physicians in Jordan: An analytical cross-sectional study

Summary: This study revealed a higher rate of violence against physicians in governmental medical centers, with male doctors experiencing workplace abuse more frequently. Only a minority of doctors believed they are legally protected, and workplace abuse had negative impacts on their performance. Strategies promoting the real implementation of anti-violence policies should be a future target.

Summary: The study found that workplace violence against resident doctors in Syria is highly common, with 84.74% of participants reporting exposure. The majority of resident doctors suggested enacting more legislation to protect doctors as the best solution to reduce workplace violence.
